Artopia : Expand your canvas with Augmented Reality and 3D

Augmented Reality has given widen up the use in the real world with virtual paint brushes and colors. This concept has brought alive by Omar Khalil from Kuwait, who has developed the app called Artopia. He was a computer science student in American University of Kuwait, who is currently working for the beta version of Artopia.

In Artopia, people can create their painting and art works in the 3D form in the real world. These art work are displayed to other users which contains the name of the creator, also giving them option to appreciate and share the work. Creations made are easily available to the people passing by using the app.

You will need to download the app from the app store which is available for both android and iOS. You can extent your canvas by moving your phone around the nearby places and even connect them and make a huge creation. Artopia gives you the freedom to displace the drawings, add different objects, make enhancement to the art which is already been created by someone else. At the end when you are done with the art work, just save, its automatically stored by Artopia services.

Just need to grab your paint brushes & colors and start drawing with the app and make your around area a new art work using the phone. As this app is in the beta version, your feedbacks are welcomed by the Artopia team at its official website. There is also a video launched by the team on Youtube.
