Google Home and Google Home Mini India Launch details

There are quite many rumors going on in the industry about the launch date of Google Home and Google Home Mini in India which would be certainly in this month of April 2018. As both the variants of Google Home are available in the market in rest of the parts of the world.

Its been a quite curious thing by the Indians regarding the launch of Google Home and Google Home Mini, in India due to the adaptation of Hindi language by Google and introduced it in the device. While there is still time for the official launch by the Google in India, many of the local users already using the Home devices are upgrading their devices to new features. There are recently 2 updates rolled out by Google, which is Bluetooth pairing and supporting the music giants of India, like Saavn and Gaana. Even though voice interaction feature is still awaited by the users.

The biggest completion for Home in India is Amazon Echo. As Echo is already ruling the Indian market with its 3 different variants in the market, i.e., Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Plus. Echo was launched in the market back in the last year of October 2017.

In the ongoing time lap, there are many hurdles faced by Google concerning about the voice recognition. To overcome this situation, it is hoped that Google has been working on the same and its upcoming version will not have the same issue. Basically, Google has customized the recognition feature to adapt to the multiple voices and response it with perfection.

There is no official announcement given by the Google Team regarding the pricing nor the launch. But it is going to be a quite competitive pricing as Amazon is the biggest opponent for the Google in this platform. As Alexa’s devices are currently selling in three versions — the Echo Dot (INR 4,499), the Echo (INR 9,999) and the Echo Plus (INR 14,999). Whereas, in the US market Google Home is available at $129 (INR 8,400) and Google Home Mini at $49 (3,190).
