LG G7 ThinQ & G7+ ThinQ: Launch and Specifications
LG under the name of “ThinQ” has entered in the race of notch design with its own different features like Quick Charge 3.0 powered by Qualcomm, MIL-STD 810G compliance with IP68 certification, face recognition and wireless charging option. Also, it has enhanced many other options like a Boombox speaker and topped with the AI feature in its camera.
LG has launched two new variants ‘LG G7 and LG G7+’ under the brand name of “ThinQ’’ in New York. There is no official launch date declared by the company regarding sale in the Indian market. But the smartphone will be available in different countries like South Korea, Latin America, Europe, Asia and North America. Also to match the style statement, LG has offered the G7 and G7+ in many of the color options like New Platinum Grey, New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue, and Raspberry Rose.
It comes with the screen size of 6.1 inches of QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The HD screen display with the resolutions of 1440X3120 pixels and brightness of up to 1,000 nits. The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC which runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. Both of the devices are powered by a 3000mAh of battery.
LG G7 ThinQ and G7+ consist of a dual rear camera setup with a 16 MP of primary with f/1.9 aperture and a 107-degree wide-angle lens and another 16MP secondary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 71-degree lens. Whereas the selfie camera comes with an 8 MP with f/1.9 aperture and 80-degree lens. There are many features incorporated into the device like fingerprint sensors, face recognition, NFC, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, USB etc.
The only difference between the two variants of LG G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ is about the storage. G7 comes with storage capacity of 4 GB of RAM and 64GB whereas, G7+ with 6GB and 128GB of RAM and internal storage inbuilt which can be expanded up to 2 TB via micro SD card.
There is no official statement released about the pricing of both the variants yet. As per the prediction, it will be declared closer to the launch date.
