A new joint venture has been formed between two giants of their industry, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) and Ola Cabs. This venture is going to be profitable and provide more comfort to the travelling users, as they can now book the Ola Cabs from IRCTC website and apps itself.

Ola is not only going to provide with cabs, but also there will be wide options available for the users to choose from, including Ola Autos and Ola share. The tie- up has made easy to book a full trip from Railway tickets to the local take home trips. This service will start from the coming Monday i.e., 26th of March 2018.

As per the IRCTC-Ola tie-up people can be able to book the Ola cabs 7 days prior the actual drive day. This facility of booking a Cab is also available at the kiosk at the IRCTC outlets which are present at the respective and selective railway stations.

On the tie-up, an IRCTC spokesperson said, “The IRCTC — Ola partnership will provide first and last-mile connectivity to commuters. The ease of travel of our commuters is of prime importance to us and we believe that this association will help in delivering unparalleled convenience to the users on our platform, fostering and strengthening the culture of Digital India.”

Also Saurabh Mishra, Head of Alliances, Ola, said, “We are proud to partner with IRCTC and this partnership truly stands for our vision to build robust and reliable mobility for a billion people. Since Ola’s inception, it is our constant endeavor to integrate our smart mobility solutions as an extension to existing public transportation infrastructure such as Railway Stations, Metros, and Airports, ensuring reliable first and last-mile connectivity for the commuters. The integration with IRCTC is not only the stepping stone to digitizing transportation end-to-end but is also, a leap in enhancing the commuter’s experience. We thank IRCTC for reposing faith in us to deliver on a project of this stature.”
