OnePlus 6: Launch event in India on 17 May

Finally, the wait is over for the OnePlus fans, as the company has officially declared the launch date for its latest model OnePlus 6. The launch date of the event has been confirmed on 17th May 2018 in Mumbai, which would be a day later after its event launch in London on 16th May 2018. Also similar to the Indian date the smartphone is also going to be launched in China on 17 May at Beijing. Whereas, there is not confirmed date mention about the release but it would be soon around 21 May, a week later after its launch. The event will start at 10 AM CST (7:30 AM IST), which will also be available to the public at a rate of INR.1000 (CNY 99).

OnePlus 6 might be available at a rate of INR 34,000 for 6GB variant whereas as for 8GB RAM it might cost a price of INR 45,999. Also, there are rumors about the different variety of RAM and Storage specifications. To enhance the OnePlus 6 launch, Amazon has given a platform for their registration and booking purpose, Amazon has declared this news in the last week.

OnePlus 6 has given a special focus on its looks to the premium feel for their fans. The company is first time introducing a glass type back panel in its smartphone, though it is not a new concept in the industry still company claims to offer the signature curved back design. This glass back design has become a mandatory feature, in order to integrate the wireless charging feature. In the forum post, Lau iterates that OnePlus 6’s glass design will offer a “sense of value” and “premium hand-feel.”

There are several features which were already being revealed during its leaks. OnePlus 6 is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor; it consists a RAM of 6 GB and 8 GB variants. There are different internal storage capacities available such as 6GB, 128GB, and 256GB, including a dual camera. As an addition, OnePlus 6 has shaken hands with Marvel to launch a special and limited edition of Avengers Infinity theme.
