Online Shopping made easy by Google Assistant

Shopping Action, a program launched by Google for its user to get a full new experience while shopping. This program allows the user to shop for their favorite items through Google Assistance and other shopping apps which are visible while the search engine result pages.

Google has combined different platforms to give users the ease experience while shopping like Google Assistance and Express shopping service. It has given feature to store your credentials about the payments in different devices and mobiles for quick and instant checkout. This benefits both the retailer and Google, as retailer will only pay Google on cost per sale basis.

The need for Google to develop such service was the rise in the graph of users toward the online shopping in the current years. According to the statistics there was 85% increase in the searches in past two years about ‘where to buy?’ query in their mobile devices. The key leader where all the queries ended was Amazon, according to the analyst by Reuters.

“We have taken a fundamentally different approach from the likes of Amazon because we see ourselves as an enabler of retail. We see ourselves as part of a solution for retailers to be able to drive better transactions,” Google’s president for retail and shopping Daniel Alegre told Reuters.
