Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact: Detailed Specifications

Sony has launched its new smartphone Xperia XZ2 Compact and Xperia XZ2. Xperia XZ2 Compact is the one which has broken the trend of large screen display and high-end pricing. This smartphone comes with a compact design with a 5-inch display and at a pocket-friendly rate.

Sony has officially launched its two variants Xperia XZ2 Compact and Xperia XZ2 at MWC conference in Feb 2018. These two smartphones are declared to be the top models released by Sony this year. There is no perfect release date for Sony smartphones but they may hit the stores by April/June 2018. Also, the expected price for Xperia XZ2 Compact will be $600. It is also said that Xperia XZ2 Compact may not have a healthy competition due to its size that offers high-end features incorporated.

Even having a compact design, Sony has not compromised at its features at all. The processor consists of high-end Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, which enables to play high definition videos. It comes with the storage capacity of 64GB with best camera quality of 19MP rear and 5MP front with gyro EIS. The screen comprises of Full HD display with a 720p resolution and density of 483 pixels per inch.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact does not have a headphone jack slot, a wireless headphone is the option to pair with the device. The back panel of the phone is made of plastic which might not be very impressive, but its main motive of not stretching the thumb is achieved due to its size. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact may not be compared with high end and trending smartphones but its compact size and features, it is fairly the best phone at this price.
