Ciao All,
What an incredible weekend we had in Venice, from Oct 6th-8th, for Techtalia 2023: Courage & Curiosity!
We had close to 100 speakers and attendees fly in from all around the world: London, Iceland, Poland, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, Dubai, Denver, LA, SF, DC, Boston, NY, Paris, Switzerland, and Florida! And Italy :)
For those who arrived early, we started Friday night getting a private look at Basilica San Marco at night.
On Saturday Techtalia’s curated talks were on AI, education, space tech, VR/AR, Web3 and gaming, Quantum computing, digital assets, an interactive coffee tasting from illy, and a truly fascinating keynote fireside chat with Carlos Cashman, founder of Thras.io.
The “Altra Club” dinner was a hit at Ca’ Foscari, with guests arriving via boat, and a fantastic live band performance of iconic Italian hits by Francesco Filizzola and Riviera’s. We danced the night away before heading off to the Gritti Palace for canal-side drinks organized by The Wedding Club.
“Breakfast With the Doge,” a private tour of the secret passages of the Doge Palace, on Sunday morning, was a culturally stimulating way to finish off the weekend. We hope you also had time for a gondola ride too!
