2017 looks promising for technology and techies. It seems to be a year where tech will be far interesting and as usual competitive. Two of the huge MOST competitive Tech companies in mobile devices, mainly, had either a bad year last year and would like to recover. The other, looking forward to consolidate it’s power.

These are predictions into the year and what Techies are to look forward to.

iPhone At 10.

Many are those who weren’t so impressed by Apple’s iPhone 7 which was released in September of 2017. Users looked forward to huge changes in feature, design, and specs. But what they had was nothing high of the iPhone 6s. Personally, I refused to purchase it because I felt it wasn’t worth my money. The iPhone will be 10 years this year ever since it was introduced. This had sparked lots of speculations about new iPhone that will be released. To celebrate it’s 10th anniversary, Apple will want to leave a huge impression.

It is not clear if Apple will come out with an iPhone 7s or an iPhone 8, better still skip the numbers and go straight into iPhone 10, to commemorate the anniversary. But regardless of the model name, users are sure to be treated to some huge changes in terms of design, features, and specs. That’s a sure bet. But until then, we keep our fingers crossed till September, 2017.

Samsung’s Recovery

After a woeful fail of their Samsung Note 7, Samsung will like to come back stronger to redeem their image. In August of last year, Samsung released arguably the most powerful mobile device on the planet. The phone was high in spec, and brilliant in design. It faced a tumultuous existence when it’s batteries started exploding. Samsung had to recall all of the models back and refund users who bought them. It’s reported that they lost close to $17 billion in the fiasco.

Samsung Group has a damage control to exercise to undertake and also a huge salvage of the brand. Their comeback must be one that will blow everyone off, else, it will be the beginning of an end — of which is something that is least said about a brand like Samsung. We look forward to that comeback!

Microsoft’s Keen Competition With Apple

In December 2016, Microsoft blew the whole world away with their latest innovation — Microsoft Surface Studio. The innovation gave put Apple on the edge, with some people declaring Microsoft the latest innovation giants over Apple. After this, there is a huge expectation on the design team of Microsoft to keep up their steam or lose out forever. The Tech scene is like a jungle – you either survive or go extinct. Eat or be eaten. This is why we think Microsoft will add up hugely to the tech game this year.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Home Assistant, Jarvis.

Before I even proceed with this, let me just say that, Jarvis, I will kill for it! There’s nothing as cool ever as having a virtual assistant that understands you and make your life so comfortable.

Before Christmas last year, Mark showed the world his latest innovation. A design he took 2 years to build. He shared on his Facebook wall a test of the device, and oh, it was voiced by Morgan Freeman. Yes!

It is not clear if Mark will commercialize this. But we sure look forward to that.

Is there anything in the tech space you look forward to but we left out? Kindly leave it in the comment box. We’ll bring you reviews of all latest products. Stay glued.
