Designed By Apple In California — The $300 Apple Products Book.

Just when we thought we have seen it all from Apple, they pull another surprise.

The book, titled ‘Designed By Apple In California’ contains 450 beautifully photographed apple products. The book is ready for sale tomorrow on Apple.com and selected Apple retail stores. The book is published by Apple itself and dedicated to the ‘founder’ of Apple innovation and designs — Steve Jobs.

‘Designed by Apple In California’ is a hardcover edition, bound in linen, and is available in two sizes: $199 for a smaller 10.20" x 12.75" version, and $299 for a larger 13" x 16.25" edition. The title, Designed by Apple in California — ‘is a name that somehow manages to be both humble and incredibly pretentious at the same time.’, says, James Vincent of The Verge.

All 450 photographs show Apple’s 20 years of innovative designs. Jon Ive, who is the chief designer at Apple inc described the book as “a gentle gathering of many of the products the team has designed over the years,” during the press release.

Of course, this is only done to say ‘Hey, look what we’ve done over the past 20 years’. But really, can they say same in the next 20 years, looking at the huge competition Microsoft pulled up months ago after releasing the Surface Studio? Only time can tell.
