NVIDIA Challenges Titan X GPU with its GTX 1080 Ti GPU
Nvidia Corporation, one of the world’s leading graphics card makers has yet again debut a newer GPU. The American technology company was founded about twenty four years ago (April, 1993) by Jen-Hsun Huang, Curtis Priem & Chris Malachowsky with Jen-Hsun Huang as the C.E.O. The company which is based in Santa Clara, California designs graphics processing units (GPU) for the gaming market, as well as system on a chip units (SoC) for the mobile computing and automotive market.
Due to cost of these cards which compelled PC makers to develop graphic cards of their own to beat the market. Yet, graphic card makers like Titan, AMD, Nvidia refuse to let down but rather dance by their own beats laughing state of the art cards to deter competitors of the game. This year being an exceptional year has seen lots of game changers in the world of PC makers like Hp launching the Spectre x360, mobile chip or SoC makers like Qualcomm & MediaTek with Snapdragon 835 & Helio X30 and the likes.
Nvidia just like its rivals aim to be the leader this year as it challenges Titan’s 2017 graphics card — Titan X with GTX 1080 Ti GPU. The GPU maker claims that, its latest graphics card is much better & about US$ 500 cheaper than Titan X GPU. The new GTX 1080 Ti is the predecessor of last year’s GTX 1080 which is priced at US$ 700.00 and is also US$ 500.00 cheaper than the Titan X, selling at a whooping US$ 1,200.00. The company’s GTX 1080 Ti GPU comes with a superb GDDR5X memory of 11GB. Another attracted feature of this card is that, it has been designed for 2160p (4K) gaming, yet, it is also capable for playing a 5K resolution game like Watch Dogs 2. One other thing Nvidia boast of 2017 GPU; GTX 1080 Ti is that, it is 35% more powerful than the GTX 1080 of 2016 of which the Titan X believe to lack. Meanwhile, the Titan X is built for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning coming with an 8GB of memory and less powerful than the GTX 1080 Ti.
