The New Microsoft Innovation That Got The Whole World Talking
Microsoft has just announced the newest member of Surface family — the Surface Studio. The Studio, which is an all-in-one, according to Microsoft, is designed for the creative process, professionals, and has the features that make designing much easier and interesting. It gives you a huge canvas for all kinds of work. You can touch it, draw on it, and develop your creativity in a rather exciting fashion.
The coolest kid on the block has a 28-inch display screen, with a 13.5 million pixels of true-to-life color and clarity. The one unique feature that The Studio has is its ‘zero-gravity’ hinge that allows you to move it to any angle, from a traditional desktop to a drawing surface, more like a canvas.
Head of engineering for all of Microsoft’s devices, Panos Panay, stated that the Microsoft Studio is “the world’s thinnest LCD monitor ever built” for a desktop. It’s 12.5mm thick (or thin, if you like PR spin). On top of that, there’s a whole new experience in interacting with the Surface Studio, by using the Surface Dial.
The Surface Dial helps you do the things you love in applications like Adobe CC, Bluebeam*, and more. To use the surface dial, you simply place it directly on the screen and watch as a color picker or a ruler magically appear.
The Surface Studio starts from at $2,999, which is approximately GHS 11924.77 and will start shipping in December.
