Summer Hackathons
HobbyHacks
Virtual, July 25–26th, 2020. TechTogether’s first virtual hackathon that aims to serve 200–300 women (cis & trans) and non-binary individuals.
Spectra Hackathon
Virtual, August 8–9th, 2020. Created by a team in the San Francisco Bay Area. In the past, they had 100–200 participants at their event.
TecHacks
Virtual, August 14–16th, 2020. Techacks first virtual hackathon, organized by women all around the world!
Fall Hackathons
SharkHack & Career Fair
Virtual, October 9th, 2020. Sharkhack’s Fall Career Fair and Mini-hack is Simmons Univerity’s first ever tech-focused career fair and afternoon hackathon!
WEHack
Virtual, October 10–11th, 2020. WEHack is the first ever UT Dallas organized gender-focused hackathon. Their theme for this year is robotics!
Columbia DivHacks
Virtual, October 23–25th. DivHacks is Columbia’s first and only student-run diversity hackathon with an objective to create an empowering and inspirational space for underrepresented students in entrepreneurship and technology.
Technica
Virtual, October 24–25th, 2020. Created by a team at the University of Maryland. In the past, they have had up to 1,000 participants. This theme for this year is Expand your Horizons, step outside your comfort zone to explore new technologies and meet new people.
TechTogether Boston
Virtual, November 6th-8th, 2020. Boston’s largest hackathon for gender-marginalized individuals! This year’s theme is Dear Future Me, create projects that make the change you wish to see in the world.
Creatica
Virtual, November 13–15, 2020. New York City’s first virtual hackathon for women and non-binary individuals in high school and college that aims to serve 250–300 students around the world.
Winter Hackathons
TechTogether New York
Virtual, December 4th-6th, 2020. New York’s only collegiate hackathon for gender-marginalized individuals! This year’s theme will be, Embracing Uncertainty.
RoseHack
Virtual, January 16–17th, 2021. Aiming for 250–300 participants this year! Founded by the ACM-W and SWE chapters of UC Riverside, Rose Hack is the first women-centric hackathon in the Inland Empire.
TechTogether Seattle
Virtual, January 24–26th, 2020. Seattle’s only collegiate hackathon for gender-marginalized individuals! Organizer application are now open.
TechTogether Atlanta
Virtual, Mid-February. Atlanta’s only collegiate hackathon for gender-marginalized individuals! Organizer applications will be open soon.

Virtual, September 5th–7th, 2020. Southern California’s First All-Female High School Hackathon!
Superposition
Date TBD. The Bay Area’s largest all-women and non-binary hackathon. In the past, they have had 400 participants at their event.

Virtual, January 2021. The Bay Area’s First All-Female High School Hackathon Is Back!

Southern California’s premier all-female (non-binary and trans inclusive), beginner-friendly hackathon. Organized by a team at USC. In the past, they have had 400+ participants at their event! Organizer applications will open in late August/early September.
Whack
