Introducing TechTogether Boston’s First Round of 2019 Partners

TechTogether Boston 2019 First Round of Partners

At TechTogether, part of our mission is to connect our ever growing community with external opportunities to enhance our hackers’ exposure to the field of technology and open various doors for their personal success. Our collaborative efforts with corporate and non-profit partners allow for this mission to manifest through connecting our hackers with mentors, jobs, internships and more!

TechTogether Boston’s goal is to provide women and non-binary individuals, regardless of background or prior technical experience, exposure to the tech industry in an inclusive environment. There is a need for companies to recruit more women and non-binary individuals and overall decrease the gender gap within this industry. Boston is one of the largest technology hubs in the world. With the growing number of start-ups and presence of prominent tech giants, Boston is the perfect location to bring the gender gap issue in tech towards the forefront.

It is our great pleasure to announce the first round of partners for TechTogether Boston 2019, to be held at Boston University’s Agganis Arena from March 22nd to 24th. In addition, we have secured a three-year partnership with Boston University to continue to host our event at Agganis Arena in the coming years.

We strongly believe that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds, should have the accessibility to attend TechTogether Boston. Our 2019 partners have made it possible to do so through their generous financial contributions. In addition, they have further enhanced our attendees’ experience by providing hackathon challenges, prizes, workshops, mentorship, company swag, fun mini-events like massages and much more!

We are so excited to work with each of our partners in the coming months to host an incredible event that inspires more women and non-binary individuals to pursue a successful career in technology.
