Almost few months back one of my friend had sent me the link of Simon sinek’s TEDx talk. After watching that talk i was very keen to know what could be the best answer i could give it to this question but after some research i had found it’s an expression of curiosity, not a real question.

According to the quote;

“Knowledge is having the right answer and Intelligence is having the right question to ask”

Asking questions is about intelligence.We all tend to get curious about a lot of things in our lives, which can be answered only by asking And one such is a ‘Why?’.

“Curiosity is the lust of mind”

Curiosity is the base of human nature. A person is always curious about one thing or the other and finding an answer to it is what keeps him/her going! The ‘why’ leads you to the truth about the interested subject.

Questioning ‘why’ opens up your mind to knowledge and there is nothing greater and satisfying in life than gaining knowledge because satisfaction is the key to happiness.

“Why” is the most efficient method of storing information. basically because it can be reused. All other questions like What, how, when and who are all event specific. They cannot be reused to make the answer for another question. “Why” on the other hand has the power to conceptualize and derive our own answers even when we know nothing about that particular new event specifically.

Answers to “Why” questions involve value judgments, and such questions can seem like requests for (or assumptions of) sentient causation. That aside, people whether scientists or not have it in themselves to be pedantic, rude and judgmental.

Simon Sinek talks about why Apple is the most valuable company in the world. It’s because their “why” is well defined.
“If Apple was like everyone else a marketing message might be: We make great computers. They’re user friendly. Want to buy one? …Here’s how Apple actually communicates: everything we do, We believe in challenging the status quo, we believe in thinking differently. The way we challenge the status quo is by making our products beautifully designed, simple to use, and user friendly. We just happen to make great computers. Want to buy one?”

“Start with Why” — Simon Sinek

Seriously, “why” is the beginning of understanding things. Everything else just follows naturally.

Knowing your “why” motivates you to be who you are and excel at it.

After all, you’re fucking amazing! :)
