5 tips to make re freshers as fun and rewarding as freshers week!
1. Chill out:
If you had a good freshers week, chances are you don’t remember how eager and easy to spot you most likely were. This time, try and be more relaxed. You might learn to enjoy new kinds of fun even!
2. Give back:
Remember that really nice girl/guy who showed you around to all the parties and introduced you to his or her friends? It’s your turn to do the same. You don’t have to actively seek out someone who looks like they need mentoring, but if you’re asked for your help, it doesn’t cost anything to help a brother/sister out!
3. Don’t forget:
While you wanna make sure you’re not the crazy little fresher you were a few months back again, you still need to keep that fun attitude towards those parties and events. They are here for you to meet and socialise with people, so do just that!
4. Put those skills at use:
Re-freshers is a great chance to use everything you’ve learnt during freshers. So if you now know that it’s not ok to mix Beer and Tequila, or that it’s not a good idea to queue outside of a club in heels with no tights, don’t make those same mistakes again, learn from the past.
5. ENJOY:
This is the most important: Have fun, no matter how, no matter where, those weeks in your uni year are the few ones during which you get to bond with your classmates all day and all night, and get into the uni lifestyle fully, so make the best of them — they will be some of your best memories.
