What we do and why we do it.

If you’re lucky enough that you got to a point in your life where you had to write your personal statement in order to apply to University, then you know it’s a pain. Especially if you’re applying to multiple universities, as you aim to please multiple admission officers who you know nothing about.

The usual recours is to contact a personal statement checking company which will charge you hundreds of pounds, dollars, euros, dinars (and the list goes on as we know people from all over the world want to go to UK universities) to check your statement. The issues here are 1) who checks it 2) how much they charge you for it and 3) the kinds of comments they’ll give you and the amount of time they will take to do so. Most often, and we don’t like to generalise at Teech, but our own experience allows us to say that the people who work at these kinds of companies are often far in age from the eighteen year olds submitting their work, and yet they charge a fortune to their clients by giving them generalised and (I swear we’re not biased) mediocre comments.
