Introduction

Restored means to bring back or return someone back to a former condition, place or position. The word Restored also means to replace, renew, revive or return.

To be restored in Christ simply asserts the renewal of our walk and faith in Christ Jesus and the new beginning of a love-driven fellowship and relationship with God.

Our Restoration is in Christ

God our Father, through Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit, restored us back to the position we lost because of our sins and disobedience (Romans 6: 4) While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He gave his son Jesus Christ to restore us back to our position as heir of Christ and to sit at the right hand of God. At the point when we get restored to God, we become alive in Christ. However we must seek God first, for restoration to come.

Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

There is Life in Christ. There is peace in Christ Jesus.

When we become restored by God, our spirit man comes alive. God wants to have the fellowship he had from in the beginning with Adam, he wants that relationship and fellowship back. This is why Christ died on the cross for you and me, so that we won’t die in our sins again, instead we will be alive in Christ. Sin will no longer have dominion over our lives.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

A New Life in Christ

Jesus came to give us a life no man can give to us. Jeremiah 32:27 is there anything too hard for God to do. Do you doubt if God can restore your family, job, academics, finance? You need not doubt because God constantly have you in mind (Jeremiah 29:11).

He is asking you today, “is anything too hard for me to do?”

Psalm 23:1–3 The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want, He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me besides the still waters. He RESTORES my soul, He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Looking at the life of Job, Job walked with God with everything he had and even when situations seem to be getting out of hand, the Lord restored everything he had lost back to him. You can’t be alive in Christ and not experience restoration, once you are alive in Christ, there comes restoration in Christ (Job 42:10)

Conclusion

Return to God today, so you can be made alive in Christ and experience restoration in everything that concerns you, just like Job.

2 Corinthians 5: 17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

God is capable of taking away your shame, regrets, sorrows by making you whole again. He is capable of raising you up from the pit of ridicule and then establish you in His divine will. He wants to do these and many more only if you come to him.

Restoration comes by a genuine relationship with Jesus and the renewal of our minds.

PRAYER POINT:

  1. Dear Father, restore my love and relationship with you, restore my hunger and passion for your word.
