An early look at the new mobile game ‘The Farm: Sassy Princess’
Who would have thought that farm games would have become so popular among casual and mobile gamers. While we certainly didn’t expect chores to become a fun pastime, Farmville proved us wrong.
Today, Farm games are still blowing up in the mobile gaming space, occupied by popular titles like Hay Day and Farmville’s sequel. So, it’s no surprise that another farm game is coming to stake its claim in the hands of casual gamers. The Farm: Sassy Princess is an upcoming title that will strike familiarly for those that grew up playing the Harvest Moon games.
Developed by DAERISOFT, The Farm: Sassy Princess is a pixel-based farming sim mixed with RPG elements. Combining the elements of Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and Animal Crossing, The Farm: Sassy Princess certainly looks like a fun romp through the fields for those interested in another iteration of the genre.
According to the official Google Play Store page, the game boasts a combo system, seasonal quests, and a simple leveling system. The game will also feature marriages for those looking to get their groove on after a hard days work.
Fishing will also be a staple in the game, giving players another pastime to sink their teeth into when the chores are done.
The Farm: Sassy Princess seems to feature a eclectic cast of characters to interact with while not plucking carrots. It is also unclear at this time whether seasons will happen in real-time or if time will be sped up like in Harvest Moon.
Either way, this new farming sim seems to borrow many elements from some of the best farming games out there and could potentially satiate the hunger of both casual and hardcore gamers craving another farm to tend to.
