Life @ Tele2 — Meet Linnea O’hara NSS Manager

What is your history at Tele2 and what are you working with now?

I started at Com Hem 2017 fresh out of Uni as a CTO/CIO-Management Trainee, which was an amazing and intense year where I learned all about the Telecom-world and received an insight into high-level strategy. After that I worked a year pursuing data analysis, driving improvement projects and working with integration projects within Delivery at Com Hem. Shortly after we merged with Tele2 I got the opportunity to lead a unit called Network Support Systems, where our responsibility is to ensure the provisioning of our Broadband customers, an important mission and a fast pace environment — loads of fun.

What is the most challenging (and fun) part of your job?

Since we support all brands and infrastructures, it is a complex world and a lot of different processes and business rules to take into account — which can be challenging. But at the same time, it gives us a holistic view of Tele2s Broadband offering and we get to work with many different departments, which is fun!

What has been the best experience during your time at Tele2?

Tough question! There are many experiences that have been great so far, for example sitting in the same room almost three weeks straight in a task force during the summer of 2018 — where we worked together to analyze data to find improvement areas within customer experience, or all conferences & workshops with the team — collaboration and innovation are two key things to make me happy!

Describe your experience the culture at Tele2?

Fast-paced, open-hearted and humoristic — we try to do our best in what we’re doing at the moment and at the same time as we like to crack jokes and have fun.

Tell us something you did not know before joining Com Hem/ Tele2?

I had now idea how the internet works for example! It was just abstract magic to me (in some ways still is…).

You are involved in Women in Tech initiative we have at Tele2, tell us about that?

Women in Tech is a huge forum with the purpose to inspire women to pursue a future within technology. The program consists of inspiring speakers, workshops and the opportunity to mingle with other women within technology from various companies. This year we will be partnering and holding a workshop with a very inspiring speaker. Hopefully, we will be able to show this in some way in the Kista office — stay tuned!

What is your favorite activity on a day off?

An early run by the water around Södermalm, brunch with friends and some time in spent in the nature or winter bathing & sitting in a sauna!
