Bitmovin & Teleport Media teams were thrilled to take part in Kino Expo and Forum together among the solution providers for video distribution and delivery in September 15–17 2021.
Andy Klimenko, Teleport Media CEO walked the KINO EXPO visitors and industry experts through the latest trends in video storage & delivery, Bitmovin award-winning products, and our integration, in an effort to bring the best Encoding, Player, Analytics, and video distribution networks to cinema and digital content professionals of the Russian and CIS markets. We met many business friends and got new acquaintances from the cinema and media world, and also we observed how the worlds of OTT streaming as online cinema and traditional cinema collide.
The rapid development of video technologies for digital content is a good prospect for cooperation and future successful deals. Bitmovin x Teleport Media collaboration is a great example of this. Together we are improving the video infrastructure for OKKO online cinema, our first joint client in Russia. And this is only the beginning. We're already in talks with 5 more potential customers and some are planning tests till the end of the year.
In addition, during the exhibition, we had the chance to speak at the Content Forum at the annual conference “Audio-visual content in a single digital environment: from TV and OTT media to cinemas and mobile devices. Distribution and delivery, marketing, monetization” and also at the international conference “Content Production: Technologies of the Present and the Future” with a report on new challenges and trends of video encoding and delivery for the OTT market.
