My Client Told Me About Being More Creative and Here is what I found
Not enough new idea? Do you think you are not creative? Being creativity is not something very difficult learn. In this article, I am going to show you few ways to be more creative.
Why do we need to be creative?
You cannot just follow what you have been told, especially at the workplace. You cannot tell your employer “this is not my job,” or “I think it is good enough” all the time. It shows you that you only care about the paycheck but you don’t put any effort on your career path.
So what you have to do? Creativity is a skill to be learned, developed, and practised. With creativity skill, you can improve the workplace and show your employers that you would like to challenge new things. You can also stand out from the crowd.
“I am not creative…”
According to some research, only 1 out 4 people thinks that they can be potentially creative. In fact, it is an excuse to say “I am not creative”. We are all used to be creative when we were young. Do you remember how we played toys when we were 5 years old? Some people like to play barbies, some others like to play robots, and some other like to build castles. When we tried to build a big castle, we only had the limited materials. We explored, experimented, imagined, tested etc all possibilities to build a big castle at our home. In the same way, we can learn to be creative by doing the same things — experimenting, exploring, questioning, imagining, and improving.
Many things help us to be creative, such as doodling, going for a walk, sleeping enough, staying away from negativity can help you improve your creative output.
