Live Like Everyone Else Will Die Tomorrow

How many times have you heard “live like you were dying” or “live like tomorrow never comes”?
A lot, and it’s great advice. You never know when the end might come, so it’s important to live life to the fullest every single day.
But, what if you flipped that idea a little bit?
What if you lived like everyone else will die tomorrow?
What would you want to say to your mother if tomorrow were her last day?
What would you want to teach someone?
How would want to impact the lives of everyone?
You have the power to do that….you have the power to impact. We all do, and it is not something to be taken lightly.
If everyone else were do die tomorrow, what sort of impact would you want to have on their lives in their final 24 hours?
And, what sort of impact would you have wanted everyone to have on your life?
What questions would you ask in an effort to glean every last bit of effort from those around you?
Would you take that coffee meeting that you’ve been rescheduling for the past month?
Would you take that phone call?
It’s a two way street. While we certainly have the ability and the power to impact those around us, they hold that same power.
We never know when the last day is coming, for us and for everyone else.
The next time your phone rings while you’re writing your bucket list, maybe you should take the call, instead of ignoring it. It could be your last chance to ask the question you’ve always wanted to ask.
