When the traffic stops,
When people stop caring,
When your sales dip,
When your “fans” disappear,
When that blog post is a dud,
When you disappear in a mountain of Internet “stuff:”
Remember you are more than just one thing.
Your career does not hinge on one piece of work, whether it is massively successful or largely ignored.
It is the sum of a body of work.
Don’t look down. Don’t look back. Look up. Look forward.
When you come up with ideas for a living, you are a fragile mortal tapping into an indestructible force.
You are not doomed to be saddled with just one success.
You can always make another one.
