Many people believe that highly intelligent people do not struggle with any kind of problem.
The reality is quite different. No matter how intelligent someone can be, they are just human. They handle different kinds of issues yet still challenging and difficult.
Here are 6 struggles that most highly intelligent people need to deal with all the time.
1. You Are A Thinker Not A Talker
You take more time to think when you look for all possible solutions and answers to a problem. An average person can give you opinion or draw a conclusion to the problem quickly.
You won’t speak at all when you are not sure you have the right answer or a good idea to the problem. A regular person cannot understand your struggle because they are not familiar your thoughts. They think you are strange or even worse, you are not that interesting to them.
2. Your Job Can Bore You Easily
You want to have new challenges all the time. You always have new ideas or projects in your mind. When you cannot apply your new ideas to your ordinary job, you feel exhausted and bored quickly.
This can turn into a struggle to finish your work. Your employer may be a regular person who wants the job done. Your creativity may affect your regular job performance and causes you struggle.
3. You Dislike Small Talk
It can be a challenge for you when you are involved in small talks. You always think many great ideas, and the ideas are mostly related to science, business, etc. These ideas can rarely be found in any kind of small talk.
The small talk makes you feel you are wasting your time because you are not interested in the topics. All you want is like-minded persons who have the ideas with the important topics.
4. People Think You Are Lazy
People may misunderstand you as lazy when you are a thinker. When you focus on thinking different ideas, you may miss or react slowly. Unfortunately, the regular people tend to mistake your reaction as laziness.
5. Socially Awkward
You are considered as socially awkward because you don’t like small talks and react slowly. You always think about new ideas and not impressed by old ideas.
If you feel more comfortable with thinking the new ideas than following the old ideas, people think you are socially awkward or put you into the catalogue as strange, weird, or unfriendly.
This can give you more pressure on your social life and make you feel more comfortable when you are by yourself.
6. Falling in Love is hard
It is difficult to meet people, and falling in love is more difficult. When you are more analytical and independent than the others, people consider you as cold and high maintenance often.
You don’t find love easily because people want to keep a distance with you.
