Today’s episode is called “F is for Forgotten — Part 1“. It tells the story of America’s forgotten youth. The 7 million young people who are not in education or employment or training. They may have the skills to navigate the streets but they haven’t had a chance to nurture their life skills.

Why don’t they believe in themselves? Why do they give up on school? Why do they fall into crime? Why do they end up at the edge of society? Tune in to find out.

We are grateful to the staff of Old Skool Cafe, the San Francisco Education Fund and Young Community Developers for their participation in this program.
