Over the past several months, we’ve been teasing a massive expansion in the geographic and agricultural scope of our flagship Kernel product…
- We championed the need for a global scoreboard for food supply and shared some of our newer techniques for filling in gaps to provide 15-year continuous crop records.
- More recently, we shared long-term trend estimates for corn, soy and wheat throughout the Northern Hemisphere. In mid-May, we published the first forecasts of live wheat models in five countries.
Last weekend, we flipped the switch at last: Kernel Global is LIVE.
Kernel Global has both monitoring and modeling capabilities.
Depending on the needs of our users, we offer access to one or both sets of the above capabilities via subscription to the web portal and API.
Here are some stories we can now tell in the product:
- A new dashboard shows off forecast model output for all countries relevant to the crop
- The map feature allows you focus on individual sub-country regions and investigate trends over time
- Beautiful raster images bring plant health phenomena to life for internal and external storytelling purposes
