How To Buy Your First Telos NFT on AreaX
The Telos NFT ecosystem continues to expand at a breakneck pace. This rapid growth is largely thanks to the success of our Mission NFT contest which put Telos on the radar of over 100 talented digital asset creators and their respective communities. It also turned the spotlight to the top-tier NFT marketplaces built on Telos, and one such marketplace is AreaX NFT. In this article, we’ll provide you with an easy-to-follow guide so you can satisfy the NFT degen in you and start acquiring some stunning pieces of immutable digital art. Ready? Let’s get to it!
Getting Started
The first step will be to sign into the AreaX NFT platform with your Metamask EVM address. If it’s your first time visiting AreaX, you’ll see a sign-in window appear on your screen. Rest assured that by signing in, you won’t be charged a transaction fee of any sort, but rather, AreaX will simply ask for your permission to connect with its platform.
If the sign-in button does not appear on your screen, you can connect your wallet directly by clicking the “Connect Wallet” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
After connecting with AreaX, you’ll be prompted through metamask to confirm the signature request. Click “Sign” to proceed and access the NFTs on the AreaX marketplace.
Once you’re in, feel free to look around for an NFT (or a few) that you would like to add to your collection. When you find one, click on the NFT, and the platform will take you to the description page that will provide you with important information such as the seller’s wallet address, the name of the NFT, contract code, token ID, price, price history, and more.
If you wish to purchase the NFT you’ve selected at the listed price, click the green “Buy for 150 TLOS” to execute the purchase. You’ll also have the opportunity to view any pending offers to the seller and even make an offer of your own if you think you can snag it at a lower price than the one listed. After deciding which route you wish to take, the following step will be to initialize your wallet and confirm the transaction. You can start this process by clicking the “Buy item” seen in the picture below.
You’ll then be prompted in Metamask two more times to initialize your wallet and confirm the purchase.
The transaction will complete upon you buying the NFT at the listed price or when the seller accepts your offer. Once either occurs, you can refresh your browser page to find the newly listed owner of the NFT is none other than…You!
