Telos Foundation Shares 2023 Leadership Outlook
Executive Summary:
As the CEO of Telos Foundation, I am excited to share an overview of our plans for 2023. We released our Annual Report several days ago and want to take a moment to reaffirm our goals and strategies for the coming year. Our team has overcome challenges and is more focused than ever on taking Telos to the next level. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Increased Marketing Efforts: We are focusing on effective marketing with a holistic approach designed to connect with the broader industry to communicate our technical advantages, and strategic partnerships while focusing on community engagement techniques for both new and existing users, developers and stakeholders
- Expanded Partnerships: We are expanding our partnerships with key players in the industry, including DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, and infrastructure, to bring even more value to our users
- Onboarding Top-Tier Projects: We will be expanding our developer outreach program to onboard top-tier projects to the Telos EVM and Telos Native
Key Performance Indicators:
- Community Engagement: We aim to significantly increase community engagement and participation with various new tools and measures
- Total Value Locked (TVL): We aim for steady growth in our network’s TVL.
- New Project Onboarding: Our goal is to onboard at least 30 new high-profile projects to our ecosystem
- Exchange Listings: We aim to provide several key listings that will expand the reach of Telos, with a focus on global markets

There are major upgrades coming to the network, with the main focus on improvements in terms of scalability, efficiency, security, and predictability. These designs are built with the purpose of improving the network and solidifying Telos as the top solution for developers and users. These upgrades fall under two categories:
Telos Core Blockchain Protocol
- Antelope Leap 3.2.1 Upgrade
Various bug fixes and enhancements to the current 3.2
- Instant Finality
This upgrade will place Telos as the only live EVM blockchain to produce and finalize transactions in under one second.
- Trustless IBC
This upgrade will enable Telos to scale horizontally with unlimited new chains, opening up massive opportunities for ecosystem growth.
Telos EVM
- EVM 1.5
Multiple optimizations and key upgrade features and fixes to ensure that Telos continues to be the leading EVM network
- EVM 2.0
Telos will extend its leading EVM infrastructure by migrating to the high-performance C++ client and RPC known as Silkworm.
- Trustless Token Bridge
Trustless token bridge between TelosNative and TelosEVM
- Telos Cloud
Telos Cloud represents a major leap in usability for Telos via single sign-on using common sign-in methods like Google and Facebook login.

The addition of a Web3 Marketing Director creates a shift toward a more concentrated and focused approach to branding, positioning, communication, and partnership building. With all of this in mind, our strategy includes a major focus on the following:
- Brand Positioning:
- Boost digital presence and engagement on social platforms and channels
- High-impact campaigns to increase on-chain activity and dApp usage rates
- Establishing Core Telos Blockchain & Telos EVM as the premier L1 solution
2. Community Building:
- Focus on existing ecosystem partners to drive cross-collaboration
- Launch education and onboarding program for easy new user adoption
- Nurture key partnerships with industry leaders to drive usage of Telos-based applications and services
3. Developer Growth:
- Expand developer resources and tools to integrate with Telos Native and tEVM.
- Invest in the existing developer community with education and resources, including onboarding for the current Cloud Wallet for support with ORE ID.
- Expand developer outreach efforts to attract more talent via network utility use-case programs.
The objective of these focuses will lead to effectively positioning Telos as the leading L1 Solution for users and developers. Driving the network adoption of Telos through putting utility as the main focus for our community.
We are looking to expand our reach into the real world. Our scalability and roadmap make Telos a valuable partner in the digital transformations happening across industries. We will be targeting and reaching out to specific use cases, such as cities and Fortune 500 companies, to showcase the potential of Telos as a network infrastructure for real-world products. This will be achieved with a focus on the following:
Driving DeFi Expansion:
- Creating a network focus on DeFi as the backbone of any blockchain ecosystem
- Key partnerships with high-profile cross-chain projects to boost network composability
- Leveraging the Fuel Program to identify up-and-coming opportunities within Telos
- Focus on identifying projects that can provide solutions to the current gaps within DeFi.
Creating a True GameFi Hub:
- Building a robust community around the various Play-to-Earn apps built on Telos
- Working in-depth with partners QudoCoin, Robinos, Web3Games, VirtualStax, Xpell, and GAMI to rally our collective communities and accelerate Telos GameFi’s growth trajectory
- Exploring cross-chain Native opportunities as many Antelope / EOS.IO chains have strong gaming communities
Deploying the Ignite Fund:
- Continue to deploy strategic capital into Tier-1 crypto projects and critical infrastructure needs
- Creating strong use cases to build on Telos Native & tEVM
Real-World Use Cases
- Reach out to specific use cases in enterprises, Fortune 500s, and unique startups to showcase the viability of Telos as a network infrastructure.
We are focused on creating real-world-ready applications for our users, and we believe this starts with DeFi. We are extremely excited about what Telos will achieve in 2023 and look forward to delivering the ecosystem growth the community expects.
As the market continues to sway back in favor of digital collectibles and NFTs, we will continue to establish Telos as the leading platform for creators to deploy and showcase their art.
Our Focus for the year can be categorized into three main areas:
Redefine NFT utility with innovative use cases:
- Leveraging our partnerships and industry expertise to drive real-world adoption and showcase the utility of Telos NFTs
- Focus on network strengths, including gasless minting as a solution for the creator community.
Building the Telos Network as a premier destination for NFT artists:
- Partnering with top-tier projects and creators to bring new and innovative NFT collections to the Telos network
- Hosting IRL events and meetups to build stronger relationships with committed builders and creators in the NFT community
Launch new initiatives to support growth:
- Direct Outreach Program for artist education on the Telos ecosystem and go-to-market support
- Building a robust NFT community through targeted marketing and outreach campaigns
We believe that focusing on these key deliverables allows Telos to create a competitive and fruitful environment for NFT creators and solidify Telos’ position as a leader in the NFT ecosystem.
Our dedicated efforts throughout the previous year have positioned us for a strong start to the new year, with a focus on delivering results in key areas such as Telos Fuel, exchange listings, and strategic partnerships within the DeFi and CeFi spaces.
Our top priorities for the year include the following:
- Maximizing the potential of Telos Fuel, our innovative infrastructure solution for decentralized finance, to drive ecosystem growth and increase overall Total Value Locked (TVL)
- Strategic expansion into global capital markets that will help accelerate the reach of $TLOS to new users
- Securing top-tier exchange listings to increase $TLOS token liquidity and trading volumes, providing greater accessibility and utility for our community
- Onboarding strategic partners within DeFi and CeFi to create composability across the chain and expand the use cases for Telos
- Building out robust on- and off-ramps to increase the ease of access and use of Telos for users around the world
