Telos Introduces Its New Board Members
January was an exciting month for the Telos ecosystem, and our Telos Board elections were a huge part! The Board elections are the beginning of a trend when it comes to on-chain governance, especially on a fast, low-cost chain like Telos. The vote was done via the Telos Decide voter app, which tallied commands and elected the members through a voting consensus, then automatically run a command to appoint the voted members to the multisig which controls the Telos Foundation account funds.
The code itself used to run the vote is truly a precedent, as it is open source and can be applied to a host of non-crypto related matters — things like Homeowner’s and Parent-Teacher Association elections can be done using the blockchain in a manner that is instant, verifiable, and most of all nearly fee-less.

BikeChain Launches on Telos
BikeChain Partnership Telos kicked off the year by introducing a few near partnerships, and one of them was with Bikechain, which functions as the first 100% self-governing ride-sharing mobile Dapp, allowing it to be a platform that is truly built for its users, by its users.
BikeChain helps make a real difference in the world by pushing towards more environmentally friendly forms of transportation, allowing users to earn while still being influential in the future of BikeChain as a whole. We’re proud to feature Bikechain as a Dapp that’s Built on Telos, and we’re eager to come together in contributing towards building towards a safer environment.

DappRadar Partnership
This month we were also eager to announce our partnership with DappRadar, the #1 global dApp ranking site for NFT & Defi projects! DappRadar functions as the go-to dApp exploration platform, allowing users to easily discover new dApps for their favorite blockchains — and now you’re able to do the same with the TelosEVM! Our seamless integration allows you to search for all the exciting dApps partnering with Telos as well as the ones being built on Telos, making it easy to stay on top of everything on the TelosEVM. We’ve already got some great collaborations set up, and we can’t wait to share the rest of them as we commit to building out the Telos ecosystem this year!
Open Block Explorer
The Open Block Explorer has kicked into development, and Telos made this exciting project open for developer collaboration! That’s right, the community has been invited to collaborate with us as we navigate the Telos Ecosystem.
We encourage our developer community to join us in this new project, which we’ve also started the OBE repository for to help the community effort go that much smoother. We are truly committed to creating a better blockchain for us all, and with the help of our amazing community, we know that it’s a goal that’s more than achievable!
