On June 15th, “TEMCO” made a partnership agreement with “Nenia” a company that specializes in the distribution of eco-friendly food products, regarding a business involving the development of blockchain based platform.
Under this MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), TEMCO and Nenia decided to develop a system utilizing blockchain technology. Nenia will be able to monitor the manufacturing process to retail sales. Including, total integrated management of raw ingredients and distribution of food products. Also, a function for creating contents and distributing compensation for the contents, using blockchain.
TEMCO’s CEO Jaesob Yoon mentioned, “Through blockchain technology, we can increase the transparency of the product distribution records from manufacturer to consumers. This will widespread Nenia’s healthy products that are made with locally cultivated Korean wheat, meat made from antibiotic-free pork, and more. Hopefully, providing all the information will allow consumers to trust and purchase the safe products from Nenia.”
