Tempus launches on Fantom
Integration with Yearn now live
Yield farming and staking in DeFi are attractive to users because of the projected high APR that many protocols offer. Everything looks great. That is, of course, until market conditions worsen and interest rates drop significantly.
At Tempus, we want to protect our users from any downside risk in this volatile market and help them achieve a high, fixed APR. That is why we are today happy to announce our launch on Fantom. Our first integration on Fantom will be with Yearn, with the following pools available on launch:
- USDC ~ 6-month term (Maturity Date: 26 August 2022)
- DAI ~ 4-month term (Maturity Date: 24 June 2022)
- USDT ~ 5-month term (Maturity Date: 29 July 2022)
- YFI ~ 3-month term (Maturity Date: 27 May 2022)
How can I get a fixed-rate yield on my USDC, DAI, USDT and YFI?
To protect yourself from the downside risk of falling interest rates or variable interest rates, you can now deposit your USDC, DAI, USDT and YFI tokens into the Tempus pools and fix your APR!
- Navigate to app.tempus.finance.
2. Connect your wallet and select Fantom network.
3. Click “Manage” to select the pool you want to deposit to.
4. Select the token you want to deposit in the “From” field.
5. Enter the amount of tokens you want to deposit.
6. Select “Fixed Yield”. You’ll see exactly how much you’ll earn.
7. Approve and Execute the transaction.
You’re done!
How can I earn a high variable yield on my USDC, DAI, USDT and YFI tokens?
All users who provide liquidity to Tempus’ liquidity pools can earn a Tempus swap fee yield on top of the current variable APY on Yearn.
- Navigate to app.tempus.finance.
2. Connect your wallet and select Fantom network.
3. Click “Manage” to select the pool you want to deposit to.
4. Select the token you want to deposit in the “From” field.
5. Enter the amount of tokens you want to deposit.
6. Select “Variable Yield”. You’ll see exactly how much you’re expected to earn.
7. Approve and Execute the transaction.
You’re done!
Withdrawal from Tempus pools
Tempus never locks any deposited funds. You can withdraw your yield-bearing tokens before the maturity of the contracts without paying any penalty for early redemption.
Press “Manage” for the pool where you want to remove liquidity. For simplicity, users can click on the “Withdraw” button and enter the number of Capitals, Yields and LP Tokens they would like to withdraw.
Enter the number of tokens you want to remove. Approve the transaction and execute it. You’re done, the funds have been withdrawn to your wallet.
