As a community, the TEN Finance telegram group has grown tremendously since the days of having a handful of members in our group, which has grown to 50,000+ and many of us have come to see many familiar faces that have been here since Day 1, from thick and thin and this the start of our MOD Q&A series, so we can get to know a little better, other than “crypto”, as to who our MOD’s are!

First up we have Baymax and Dyan! Everyone loves our android Baymax with his ability to multi task the toughest tasks and the handsome youthful and extremely intelligent Dyan (so he says, not confirmed by team).

Q1: There are so many yield aggregators in the defi market, why did you choose Tenfi? What do you see in it? What would you like to leave to the person who is holding Tenfi?

Baymax:

There are definitely a lot of yield aggregators in the market, but how many of them have a co-founder who is around almost 24/7 integrated as part of the community?

The platform, tokenomics and roadmap is definitely the first consideration, but once you’ve understood the project structure, it is the non-tangible aspects that invokes confidence in a project. I’d like to be frank and share that it is Mr TEN’s overwhelming dedication that drew me and I’m sure many others like me hold TENFI.

Dyan:

1. Clean contracts, despite my attachments to the awesomeness of TEN’s community itself, the first and foremost thing that all investors in DeFi should look at is the code itself (read the audit result from a reputable company only), and TEN came out stellar.
2. A communicative, amicable and open-to-suggestion co-founder, if your ideas are good and fits the strategy of TEN, you best believe Mr TEN will use them.
3. A clear and adaptive roadmap and tokenomics. Look at the latter and you’d find out that TEN was made for the long haul with great vision
4. Close knit community that is helpful and isn’t toxic, experience quite a lot of wenmoon memecoins groups, TEN is a breath of fresh air everyday
5. Founded by 3 highly experienced fund managers with stellar background, you best believe they know how to utilize your funds to its utmost potential

Q2: Over the period you’ve been MOD in the TENFI Community, what new things have you learnt from Mr TEN and the Community that have contributed positively to you personally?

Baymax:

1. Mr TEN: Fountain of wisdom for all things related to crypto and the real world.
2. A good number of close friends actually started from TENFI. It’s the TENFI family that is something you can’t find elsewhere, definitely one we need to keep close and grow.

Dyan:

1 Mr TEN: I’ve learned a lot about the world of finance, DeFi and even some life lessons as well. You can learn anything from the dude, except gaming, he sucks at it
2. Community: I’ve learned to enjoy a lot of my times bantering and having fun with the community outside of the usual crypto talks, this shows TEN has evolved to be more than just a profit-chasing group

Q3: If crypto was not born, how would you guys see yourself now? Where you think you’ll be :D

Baymax: Well rested with lesser dark under circles. Will likely be in a marketing firm.

Dyan: Running my main business as usual, nothing special.

Q4: Like you’re on the front line as mods and you permanently interact with all kinds of people’s emotions & behavior : rude/polite kind/angry happy/sad benevolent/threatening. Has your perception of human nature changed?

Baymax: It’s definitely an eye opener to all the kinds of people you’ll meet when being a mod. It has built my ability to listen to everyday users and I think once you’re able to let them understand that you care, most of these angry/sad/rude people are actually nice people too.

Dyan: Not really, I’ve met with many kinds of different personalities in my life. The people that I met in the crypto world are still borderline ordinary from my point of view, nothing too outrageous yet.

Q5: I want to know more about the team, not faces, but how the team came to be. How was the recruitment process? Who met with who first?

Baymax: I was very intrigued by TENFI and its plans, spoke to Mr TEN in DM and we just went from there. Quite an amazing journey now when you think about it.

Dyan: I was an investor and active TEN member before being approached by Baymax to become a volunteer mod, I agreed and here I am!

Q6: What do we know about Yieldex?

Baymax: There’s a lot that is still kept secret about Yieldex. But I would like to draw the community’s attention to take some hints by seeing what Auditor Company is handling Yieldex and you’ll know how serious and impactful Yieldex will be. There’s also hints of even more collaboration with bigger names that I can’t say now but it definitely got me hyped.

Dyan: An exclusive investment platform on TEN that will use TENFI as its main utility token. As far as I know, you’ll be able to “lock” or “buy” something called “Lots” which are somehow similar to stocks, and you’ll get a dividend from fees accrued on the platform. And that’s just one of the features that I know of.

Q7: Can you list 1–2 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?”

Baymax:

1. Mr TEN. Mr TEN. Mr TEN.

2. In a space that has so many exploits and rugs everyday, TENFI is one of the few that puts a heavy emphasis on security and audits.

Dyan:
1. 3 managing founders that know what they are doing, plus a capable team that has massive experience in coding.
2. A long term tokenomics, roadmap and will be the first yield optimizer on the chain that has real utility for their token (YieldEx)

Q8: How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries where English is not spoken well? Do you have local communities for them to let them better understand your project?

Baymax: We just released multi languages on the main website with a total of 9 languages right now. Local communities are also being set up one by one and if you have a specific language or local community that you want, feel free to DM us. We are also accepting volunteer translators who want to help us translate the website!

Dyan: We are looking for different crypto influencers at the moment and also doing AMA at each respective country’s group that had previously proven to have good results (it’s really hard to find a legit AMA group, most of them are filled with bots). Yes, we will have sub-groups that will be modded by the people who speak their national language.

Q9: How did you both go into crypto?

Baymax: By accident! I was just Googling for higher interest rates than what I was getting at banks and found an article about BSC — the rest is history.

Dyan: During lockdown, I am not the type of person who likes to sit down doing nothing, so I talked with my friends and they introduced me to crypto. It’s rabbit hole from then on

Q10: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to your project? Because it is the success of a project to get more investors who are still not in the crypto world. What are the plans to increase awareness in non-crypto space?

Baymax: Good question and I believe this is something most if not all projects would love to achieve. Education is definitely the key here and the team here at TENFI is always open to helping newcomers in crypto. Adding on how simple the UI on TENFI is, I believe this will make it easier for newcomers to enter crypto. I can’t share the specifics but there are many marketing plans in the pipeline that are coming up and you will see them targeting both crypto and non-crypto space.

Dyan:
1. TEN has plans to create a sort of “wiki” or TEN Education that will have easy to digest information for newcomers into crypto world
2. Our platform was created with the core idea of simplicity in mind, TEN is looking to make the process of using DeFi as simple as possible. Reducing the learning curve that will help attract more laymans into the crypto world.

Bonus Q: If you’re given an ultimatum to choose between TENFI and sex, which will prevail?

Baymax: I’m a robot, wasn’t programmed or designed to have sex.

Dyan: Why not both?
