Sutton Tennis Academy (Rose Hill)

Good — if chilly — viewing, sitting space between matches, and a great diner across the car park

Coffee: there is an internal cafe but last time it was closed. Jim’s Diner across the car-park is bright and cheerful with a longest menu in the world. The coffee is good enough

Food: Similar confusion around the internal cafe, but Jim’s is tasty and good value — albeit not exactly the fare one would want regularly for top athletes

Viewing: High viewing gallery for the six indoor courts. Gets chilly in winter so bring a coat.

Space: Dreary but ample space in the central hall/cafe. Some power plugs

Parking: Lots of parking — only seen it full once

Courts: 6 indoors, multiple artificial clay out doors. Three (or four?)court bubble in winter

Further afield: Tesco Express = 5 minute walk; McDonald's and large Tesco = 5 minute drive
