With iOS 10’s release today, Tenor is thrilled to announce a new update to our GIF Keyboard that expands on our ability to bring visual expression to conversations. Here’s What’s New with iOS 10:

• Create Your Own GIFs: With Tenor’s iOS 10 update, you can now create your own GIFs with your front or back facing camera — just tap the camera button to activate!
• Personalize GIFs with Captions & Drawings: Make your GIFs more you. Personalize your captured GIFs with text, a handwritten note or drawings.

• Turn GIFs into Stickers: Press and hold on any GIF — even the ones you have captured with your camera — and select a portion of it to create a sticker that you can drag and drop onto any message — text, image or GIF — within iMessage.

• Save GIFs and Stickers in Packs: Create packs of your favorite GIFs and stickers that you can easily share with friends and family. Packs can be created around shared interests like football season or Storks, or around groups of contacts like your coworkers, roommates, or family. Packs let you create your own private visual language, shared just with your groups.

Tap into the Power of GIF Keyboard:

• The Right GIF at the Right Time: Tenor’s telescoping search and “Did-You-Mean” suggestions will make it even easier to refine your search and discover just the right GIF to match the feeling you are trying to express. “Smile” doesn’t quite cut it when you really want to express “smirk” or “laughing smile.”
• Personalize Your Keyboard: Easily favorite GIFs and add them to packs. Favorited GIFs will appear right at the top of your search results. The more you use Tenor, the more personalized your visual language becomes.
• Take GIF Keyboard Everywhere: The GIFs and stickers you make or favorite sync to your GIF Keyboard, so you can use them everywhere GIFs are supported.
