3Commas —~25% Monthly Through Automated Trading on Your Favorite Exchange?
What is 3Commas?

3Commas is a trading platform, created in 2017, and offering many fonctionalities: “Smart Trading”, multiple trading bots, Signals, A scalping terminal and more. The platform is connected to the exchanges of your choice (one or more)
Trading Bots
I LOVE trading bots. They are autonomous, fast, stable and will always trade according to conditions, no matter what (no FOMO you know). With 3Commas, trading bots are free and multiple types are available on the platform: DCA (long/short), Grid and Options. Through a marketplace, you can select, create or modify one or multiple interesting trading bots to run them on your exchange (only 1 bot per type with the free plan).
I’ll write only about the DCA trading bot offer as it’s the only one I’ve tested.

25% of ROI?
In my case, I’ve found an interesting DCA “Short” trading bot on the pair COCOS/BUSD, which last month profit was around 25%.
The program has been running for 8 days (since 15 of March) with a total of 500$ (mixed between 250$ COCOS (250$ worth) and 250 BUSD.
With a current benefits of 33.24 BUSD, the program has an ROI of:
33.24/500 = 6.6% for 8 days
It represents 0.8% daily or 24.93% monthly.
From now I can’t say if the bot will reach its last month profit of 25%. Nothing can guarantee that the market will be the same. It’s even possible that I lose all the benefits made if bad trades happens. This is not magic, this is automated trading.

As you can see on the screenshot, into “Pair” column, I’ve connected the program on my Binance account. I have multiple exchange accounts but I love the Binance one, and if you haven’t any account yet, I suggest you to make one. Trades control and visibility
Because the bot is trading on our binance account, we have complete visibility and control on open trades and the trade history. I highly recommand you to let the bot do the work: don’t open or close positions and avoid withdrawing and depositing on the same pair. I don’t trade by myself but in case I make sure to select a pair I don’t own or don’t use (I bought COCOS and converted some of my USDT into BUSD for the bot).
Is 3Commas Safe?
The program is trading on our account. Because the wallet is ours, and trades are open on our account, the bot and other programs can’t scam exit or rug pull, so it’s safe. Even if the platform stop to run, all you’ll have is going on Binance and closing the open trades.
The reality is that safe doesn’t mean it will be viable. It’s possible that bots conditions don’t meet and hit the stop loss multiple time, resulting in losses instead of gains, or that you made by decisions using 3Commas platform (use bots instead, haha)?!
If you go for trading bots on 3Commas, my advice is simple: let the bot doing its job. It’s not because few trades are losses that the bot will be a total failure. Even if it’s a total failure, you aknowledge that as risks you take when trading.
Is 3Commas Free?
The platform has a free subscription, allowing to have 1 running bot per type (1 DCA, 1 Grid and 1Option). Other subscriptions slighlty increase the possibility of your account. In my case, I’m not interested by SmartTrades, I’m only looking for bots, so I would probably go for an Advanced plan (for the unlimited DCA Bots) or the Pro plan (when Grid and Options Bots tests will be satisfying). For now, the Free plan is just fine.
Is 3Commas the best trading platform?
To be honest, no.
It’s not the best platform as it can be a bit complicated to start with, and understand the platform. I regret the lack of other types of bot, like copytrading bots or arbitrage bots (like Swapnex or Pionex for exemple) and the lack of backtesting fonctionality. But you know what, let’s be positif, they can always add all of this later?!
Even if 3Commas is not my favorite trading platform, it’s a very good and well known, it has a very good free plan to test it, subscriptions are pretty low and quite interesting too.
Why did I pick 3Commas?
- Because of the possible ROI (15~35% per month is HUGE)
- Because of the low risks it represents (no ponzi / no scam)
- Because I want to diversify my investments
So, if you’re like me, looking for trading bots to invest in, I think that 3Commas can be worth giving a try!
