We are excited to share that you can now use Airbyte Cloud to bring data to Teradata Vantage™ — the complete cloud analytics and data platform. Airbyte Cloud streamlines data ingestion with a fully managed and hosted service that eliminates the need for infrastructure setup and management. The Teradata Connector on Airbyte Cloud allows teams to extract vital data for processing and unlock actionable insights with Teradata’s powerful ClearScape Analytics functions. These functions simplify data exploration, feature engineering, model training, path analysis, and more.

Airbyte Cloud and Airbyte Open Source

Airbyte offers source connectors that enable the retrieval of data from popular APIs, Databases, and SaaS platforms directly into your Teradata Vantage environment. The Teradata destination connector has been part of Airbyte Open Source since March 22, 2022. Now, with the availability of the Teradata connector in Airbyte Cloud, Teradata customers, and the developer community gain access to additional features including:

  • Airbyte Cloud supports multiple users, facilitating collaboration across teams.
  • Airbyte Cloud enables the creation of multiple workspaces, allowing teams to organize and manage their data integration projects efficiently.
  • Receive notifications via email, webhook, or both if issues arise with your data pipelines.
  • SSO allows users to access Airbyte Cloud using a single set of credentials simplifying the login process.
  • Define roles with specific permissions via RBAC, ensuring that users have appropriate access to the resources they need.
  • The OAuth connector simplifies the authentication process for connecting to various data sources.
  • Teams that do “Infrastructure-as-Code” for managing their infrastructure can define their Airbyte Cloud connections with Terraform and Pulumi. These platforms allow teams to automate the management of connections, avoid configuration drift, and maintain an audit of changes.
