Today we’re really excited to announce that Tercet Network will be launching our own native PoS-based blockchain and Masternode reward system.
This is a huge step forward in establishing a full featured Gaming Blockchain and high-functioning network that will generate value take its rightful place among enterprise-grade platforms and service providers, and it also means that our supporters can get run a Masternode and claim major rewards.
Blockchain networks are hosted on computers or computing devices which are called nodes. Sometimes a device only stores the recent information of a blockchain, making it a light node — a Masternode is a full node that hosts a complete copy of the blockchain network, updating all transactions in real time.
Masternodes support the network and receive crypto rewards in return. Are you our next Masternode host?
To run a TCN masternode, you’ll need to stake a sum of TCNX, and the rewards for doing this will be big. At the moment, we have 50% of the TCNX token supply locked until the end of June, a total of 10 billion. Out of that sum, 20% (4 billion) of the locked TCNX supply is being reserved for Masternode rewards.
Masternodes will help stimulate the network economy as well as rewarding our investors and helping to create fair and decentralized blockchain dynamics.
We’re going to be releasing more details on the Masternode specs including the collateral that needs to be staked, tiers, and reward details in April, so stay tuned.
Tokenomics and Other News
As well as assigning a major sum for Masternode hosts, we’re also reserving 30% of the locked TCNX supply for Research and Development to further develop our Ecosystem.
Our Gaming Blockchain isn’t like other off-the-shelf blockchains, many of which are essentially carbon copies of each other. Our blockchain is optimized for gaming and will have many innovative new features that we’re thrilled to be bringing to market — more on that soon!
Finally, we’re publishing our roadmap in April, so the community can get a clearer sense of our specific goals and timeline. We’re working on some pretty major stuff here at Tercet Network — thank you for your support, and remember to follow us here or on social media for further updates.
