To date, more than 50 builders have decided to create NFT-based projects on Ternoa. With the ambition to help hundreds more join our ecosystem, we are now introducing our 2023–24 Grant Program.
A mainnet infrastructure ready to welcome dApps
Following the successful delivery of our mainnet and initial roadmap, Ternoa entered “the Odyssey” in September 2023.
The Odyssey is Ternoa’s new development stage, intended to grow adoption of our infrastructure at a global scale, as evidenced by the number of transactions on-chain.
To achieve this goal, Ternoa is committed to support builders looking take advantage of our main differentiators and launch their NFT-based project on Ternoa chain:
- A fully decentralized network with native polkadot ecosystem interoperability
- Utility NFT features available without having to deploy smart contracts, with javascript SDKs
- Natively built data privacy features to create “private-content NFTs”
- A strong community in Europe and Asia as of today, and a global expansion plan for 2023–24
Granting Builders Rank#1: Resources and rewards to launch your project on Ternoa
Minting costs are vital to a healthy token economics model. However, we don’t want them to become barriers, potentially deterring promising builders to launch their projects on our blockchain.
For this reason, we are allocating $CAPS from the “Ecosystem” slot to grant eligible Rank#1 Builders:
- “Launch grant”: A $CAPS compensation covering the amount required to launch a project on Ternoa. The granted amount can cover expenses such as NFT minting costs, chain transaction fees, development & marketing costs. Launch grants are limited to 1 500 USD maximum and a maximum of 100 000 $CAPS /project.
- “Performance grant”: 12 months after the launch of the project, and subject to conditions below, the grantee will become eligible to an additional $CAPS sum based on the performance of the project. For each 1 $CAPS of transaction fees and minting costs incurred by the project, the project shall receive 1 $CAPS, with a maximum of 1 000 000 $CAPS.

For a chance to obtain a grant, you first need to place an application via this form.
Additional information might be required on a case by case basis, and can be rejected without further explanation from the team.
Once you receive confirmation from our team, you will receive the “Launch grant” amount in the following month (the grant payment will need to be offset by an invoice issued by the beneficiary).
The date when you receive the Launch Grant will be considered to be the “Project Launch” date for the purpose of the Performance Grant distribution.
To become eligible to a Performance Grant the project shall generate more than 10 000 $CAPS of transaction and minting fees over the 12 months period following the Project Launch (in addition to minting costs covered by the Launch Grand) . The foundation reserves the right not to pay the performance grant to any project which would be suspected of wash trading activity
The grant program will be subject to future evolutions depending upon its success, and evolution of the web3 industry going forward, so that Ternoa keeps having a relevant program in place. However all grants given under this format will be followed through regardless of potential changes.
