August: An Important Month for Ternoa’s Blockchain Development
This month we put all of our energy towards preparing the Ternoa Blockchain, or the TernoaChain as we like to call it, for its next big step: Testnet launch. But there is a lot to get done before this can happen. In this article we will discuss all that Ternoa has completed this past month for its Blockchain development to prepare for what is to come, as well as what they have set up for their CAPS holders and community.
The TernoaChain Leveling Up
The Ternoa team started off this month with a bang by announcing that they are in the process of creating a Ternoa x Solana bridge! This will open up CAPS to a whole new ecosystem, allowing the exchange of CAPS ERC20 to CAPS SPL. We will announce more details once the bridge is released.
To take things a bit further, the team also announced that the Ternoa Blockchain is now entering the next stage of its growth, moving towards Testnet! This will allow testing on all of the work they have done so far. For example, testing the SGX blockchain security, minting NFTs, finalising features on the SecretNFT Marketplace, and more. The Ternoa Dev team will be focusing on making sure everything goes smoothly and performs in the best way possible. To help test out minting NFTs and the SecretNFT Marketplace features, the team will actually be selecting certain artists to help test out the artist accounts and minting their own NFTs.
On top of this progress, our Masternodes model is now ready, and will be implemented on the Ternoa Testnet. The team teased on our Twitter account that there will be two types of nodes: full nodes and secret nodes. They also mentioned that these nodes will be open sourced. Stay tuned for more updates and details on the Masternodes model and its staking and governance features.
In regards to one of Ternoa’s current DApps, the Tiime Engine, Ternoa hosted its first Happy Tiime Event! This event allowed Ternoa Wallet App users that have collected Tiime reward tokens throughout the previous month to exchange these tokens for unique NFTs. In total over 20,000 NFTs were given out on this day, putting to test our blockchain network and the decryption features of the application. On top of this, certain users who collected the most Tiime tokens got a surprise of free CAPS within their NFT. This event will take place once each month, and will motivate users to help the team test out their current products!
Speaking of NFTs, we have also been sharing details with the community on what SecretNFTs are, how they are created and what they are used for on the Ternoa blockchain. To put it simply, SecretNFTs are encrypted NFTs that can be used to store digital data within. There are so many use cases that can be created with this technology, for example by adding one of our sending protocols to the SecretNFT, it becomes a time capsule ready to send your private data to the future!
But that’s not all, this month we proudly announced our first implementation of the Ternoa SecretNFT through a new collaboration with Syment. Offering remote general meeting solutions to over 300,000 real-estate co-owners, Syment has chosen to migrate to the Ternoa Chain to gain an innovative edge in having the ability to give their users decentralized, immutable minutes and much more. This collaboration will open many doors to new companies, allowing people to see how vast the options for use cases on the Ternoa Chain can be.
CAPS Rewards Keep Coming
Throughout August, the Ternoa team had a few special treats for their CAPS holders. Starting with not one, but two reward programs on our PancakeSwap liquidity pool! And then a new collaboration with Beefy.Finance creating a new CAPS/BNB Vault.
The two PancakeSwap reward programs include one being up to 4000% APR on the pool, given directly from Ternoa which you can check on our website Pools page. The second being a 3000 CAPS plus one NFT giveaway to one randomly selected person each day for a limited amount of time! To participate, holders must have at least 20k CAPS liquidity on the CAPS/WBNB pool, and also complete our quick submission form. More information on these PancakeSwap LP rewards programs can be found in our Support Docs center. The winners are airdropped the rewards directly, and are also announced each week on our Twitter and instagram!
Later this month, we announced a new collaboration with Beefy.Finance, the multi-chain vault system. Tis brought forward a new rewards vault on our ApeSwap CAPS/BNB pool, as well as a new launchpool with stablecoin and CAPS rewards! Community Updates & Recent Events
The Ternoa community grows day by day, this month reaching 2k followers on Linkedin, 60k on twitter, and in total we have surpassed 100k supporters across all of our social media platforms!
While expanding the community, Ternoa is also working towards expanding the dev team. With all of these new developments on the Ternoa Chain, we need extra hands to help out, therefore the team opened up a new job listing searching for a Senior Substrate Blockchain Developer, you can click the link here to see the job description. This month we had two AMAs with international community groups. One being with Arkstream Capital’s Chinese QQ community, where our Deputy CEO Clément Tequi and Leo, Marketing Director of AscendEx were interviewed about Ternoa’s recent accomplishments. Another being with international telegram community Crypto Eagles, where Clément Tequi went into detail about the project’s mission, recent CAPS rewards programs and more.
Our Deputy CEO was also featured on ApeSwap’s Podcast, which you can stream today on Spotify, Apple music etc. Here you can listen in on what potential use cases can be for the project, and its future goals.
Connecting with our community, as well as spreading the word of Ternoa to other groups internationally, is extremely important to our team. Therefore we are not stopping here, there will be many more AMAs and other community events to come!
