The Purpose of RPC Nodes

Introducing NFT-based “Node-as-a-Service” (NNaaS) and Ternoa Network Incentives
NNaaS is a novel concept aiming to give the easiest access to RPC nodes nodes for users interested in supporting the network, while creating a simple framework to incentivize RPC nodes operations.
In NNaaS, NFTs are used to grant temporary rights on a third-party operated RPC, thanks to NFT renting features:
- A third-party operates RPC nodes
- This third-party issues NFT-nodes, which can be rented by end-users (lessees)
- The lessees pays rent to the lessor, for the amount required to cover RPC nodes operations costs
- In exchange, the lessee, now operator of the node, becomes the beneficiary of any potential incentives paid by the network to RPC nodes operators
To support network stability, and to celebrate the launch of Sentinels, Ternoa network will pay 120% APRs monthly to RPC nodes operated through NFT Nodes Services.
