This article will detail answers to frequently asked questions about Ternoa’s main mission, its background, and the team behind this innovative project. This is 1 article in a series of 4, delving into the details of the Ternoa Blockchain project.

Ternoa’s Mission

In today’s world, the option to have complete privacy, control, and high security on long-term data storage is almost non-existent. For example, with iCloud, the government has the right to browse through your data, or even permanently delete it if they please. On top of this, where will all of your data go when you pass away? This is where Ternoa comes in…

Ternoa is the first blockchain ecosystem that offers secure data encryption and transmission through the use of NFTs. Thanks to this technology, users will be able to gain full control over their private data, with the option of long-term storage of 20, 50, 100+ years. The project also allows users to transmit their data however they please with maximum security and no intermediaries. The options for use cases on this blockchain are limitless.

To go more into detail, the blockchain we developed allows users to buy encrypted NFTs called “time capsules” and easily add data to them, which can be stored long-term and transmitted at any point to a chosen beneficiary. The transmission is based on different sending protocols that the blockchain offers, for example, if the user chooses a certain date, or even triggers it to send after the user’s death.

There are endless amounts of use cases for this time capsule technology. In fact, once Ternoa’s Mainnet launches in Q1 of 2022, anyone will be able to suggest new use cases or DApps. In regards to the general public, or B2C, we are already developing our first DApps, for example, time capsules for personal data storage, or our alpha version SecretNFT Marketplace where artists can mint and protect their own NFTs, allowing only the sole owner of the NFT to see its full quality. Or even through gamification like our Tiime Engine Rewards DApp where users can win NFTs by interacting with actions on the platform.

For the B2B market, our secure, decentralized data services can easily apply to banks, hospitals, lawyers, you name it. Syment, a company that offers remote general meeting solutions to real-estate co-owners, is actually already migrating over to the Ternoa Blockchain to have decentralized, immutable minutes and more for their users.

How did the founders come up with such an idea?

When our founder Mickaël Canu had his children, he wanted to find a solution on how to share the memories they shared together as they grew up. That sparked the idea of the Time Capsule, storing digital data like photos, videos, important documents, etc., and being able to send them to the future for his children to view when they are adults!

Our other co-founders joined in for this idea, and also for the fact that it allows users to be the sole owners and controllers of their data space, a factor that is becoming more and more of a necessity today, not only for the general public but for large companies as well.

The name for Ternoa came about easily to Mickael, Ter meaning eternity, and Noa meaning serene, together meaning Serene Eternity, thanks to our secure way to transmit your legacy to your future!

Who helps run the project?

In just under a year, the Ternoa team has grown from 5 people to over 40! Filled with international, well-experienced professionals all working together to bring Ternoa’s vision to all corners of the world.

Our key members include our CEO, who has been a web developer for 20 years, has 5 years specifically in tokenization and blockchain, has created multiple tech companies, and more. He not only works on the vision of Ternoa but also on technical executions.

Clément Tequi, Deputy CEO of Ternoa, as well as one of the Co-Founders, helps Ternoa develop and push forward in the best way possible. He has previously worked in the financial advisory sector and specializes in Token Economics. He also created the blockchain practice at the Accuracy firm, is a blockchain lecturer, and is the author of the book “Blockchain, towards new value chains.

Where is the Blockchain at now, and what is to come?

The team is currently developing TestNet for the Ternoa Blockchain, which will allow the official testing of the blockchain technology, like for example, its security features, NFT minting, alpha version DApps going to the beta version, etc.

This will allow the team to fully prepare the project for its Mainnet launch in early 2022. Once the Mainnet launches, the Ternoa application offering the general public the opportunity to create time capsules and explore the Ternoa Universe of DApps, NFTs, and more will be released. Among many other things, for example, the option for companies, governments, and individuals to suggest new DApps on the Ternoa Blockchain, or as we call it, the “TernoaChain”.

Be sure to follow our social media to stay up to date on Ternoa’s developments! We are sure to update the community on all of the important steps toward Mainnet launch and beyond.
