Secret NFTs & Capsules create groundbreaking projects at Ternoa’s Internal Hackathon
We launched our second Ternoa Hackathon Program with 13 participants, 6 projects, and 3 intense days of hacking! 6 teams from Ternoa & Capsule Corp Labs joined forces to push the limits of innovation and creativity, leveraging Ternoa’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and features. The event was a unique opportunity for teams of developers, designers, and product managers to showcase their skills and contribute to the future of web3. A panel of expert judges evaluated the ideas presented based on the impact, creativity, usage of Ternoa features, and technical feasibility of each project.
We are thrilled to showcase the impressive projects that were developed during our hackathon program, as they are bound to inspire our community with the endless possibilities of what can be created using Ternoa features. The winners were announced, with the first-place winner selected by the panel of judges and the team choice award voted on by the participants themselves. Our first-place and team-choice award winners was Octopush, developed by Clément, Dominique, and Geoffrey.
This project allows you to never miss out on purchasing your favorite NFTs again with Octopush! This innovative website is the solution to the frustration of missing out on opportunities to buy NFTs on the Ternoa chain. Octopush allows users to set filters for specific NFTs, define spending limits, and receive notifications when their favorite NFTs become available. But that’s not all — Octopush offers premium features, including leveraging the rental NFT feature and access exclusive features, such as knowing if other people are bidding on the same NFTs and at what prices.

In second place was the ground breaking project Whistleblowers by Igor & Victor!
Imagine having a safe space where you can express yourself freely and expose anything from unethical behavior to photos, or writings without the fear of being identified. That’s what the team created with Whistleblower — a powerful platform that uses Secret NFTs and Transmission Protocols to enable you to publish anonymous content with complete anonymity. Whether you want to speak out against corruption, share your personal experiences, or simply shed light on something, this platform gives you the power to do so without any fear of retaliation. Until the protocol countdown is reset, the Secret NFT belongs to the owner. If the countdown ends, the Secret NFT ownership is transferred to Whistleblower. The dApp then gets access to decrypting keys of every Secret NFT it owns to make them publicly viewable by anyone.
My Web ID

Our next project showcases the potential of Ternoa Capsules with a new type of online identification called “My Web ID,” which aims to allow users to securely enter their data into a token while keeping it secret from third parties. The project is a response to the fact that everything that people do online is being tracked and sold without their consent. With My Web ID, users can have more control over their data and only share it with the websites they choose, allowing for a more personalized and optimized user experience. The project is particularly relevant in the e-commerce fashion industry, which is expected to grow to $1.2 trillion by 2027, and where personalizing the customer journey is a high priority. The project aims to bring power and privacy back to users and allow them to have a better online experience.
Neftworth

Neftworth is a dApp developed by Prabhu that uses Capsule NFTs to manage personal assets securely. This revolutionary app allows users to store records of various assets, including financial instruments, art, real estate, and digital collectibles. With superior protection compared to alternatives like Google Drive and Dropbox, Neftworth offers regular and secure modes for data storage, and permits controlled access to asset records through Transmission Protocols.
Neftworth has two modes of operation: regular mode and secure mode. In regular mode, users can capture basic asset information, while in secure mode, Neftworth stores encrypted information about personal assets. It protects sensitive data and documents in Capsules, and can transfer documents automatically to selected recipients using Transmission Protocols. Neftworth is designed to provide a familiar web app experience that is not intimidating to users, making it the perfect solution for individuals looking to compile and secure records of their personal assets.

Reactive Secret-NFT

For this project, the team utilized the concept of reactive secret NFTs to develop a platform for securely sharing confidential assets. This project involves creating a secret NFT designed to be used within a zero-knowledge enclave, which is a secure computing environment that allows data to be processed without being exposed to the outside world. The enclave will run the code contained within the NFT, without revealing its contents to the machines that will use it to build something.
For example, imagine you have a pattern for creating a specific object using a 3D printer. By creating an NFT with the code necessary to produce this object, you can share it with others without revealing the underlying design. The NFT can be used within a zero-knowledge enclave, which will execute the code and instruct the 3D printer to produce the object, all without revealing the design to the printer manufacturer or any other third party. This project allows for the sharing of valuable intellectual property without compromising its secrecy or security, making it possible for individuals and organizations to collaborate without fear of their ideas being stolen or shared without permission.
