Ternoa’s NFT Time Capsules Soon to Enter the Elrond Ecosystem

Ternoa’s Time Capsules, an innovative way of using NFTs issued on the blockchain as vehicles to store and transmit data, continue to grow and expand. This time, Ternoa has secured Elrond’s collaboration to include their addresses in our supported networks list.
In this way, our flagship product will get increased exposure.

Why did we decide to work with Elrond?
Elrond has also experienced incredible growth in the last few months, with the aim of “attempting to become the backbone of a permissionless, borderless, globally accessible internet economy”. In the words of its CEO:
“The permanent and immutable nature of blockchain technology will allow humanity to remember history’s lessons more accurately and draw on them better. We are happy to have Elrond accounts as recipients of the innovative Ternoa Time Capsules” said Beniamin Mincu, Elrond Network CEO.
Regarding its technical capabilities, Elrond can process up to 15,000 transactions per second (TPS), with 6-second latency. The company has also implemented additional speed and security improvements, namely Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithms and Adaptive State Sharding mechanisms, which allow for parallel transaction management. Elrond states that these developments can bring “1000-fold cumulative improvements”.
Ternoa’s users are well aware of the premium we put on security: a clear example of that are the encryption methods employed on our NFTs, or the several security measures implemented on our Alpha Wallet App. With this in mind, collaborating with Elrond seemed like a natural step.
