Terrapin Ticketing announces partnership with Resonance Music & Arts Festival 2018

We are excited to announce today that Terrapin Ticketing is partnering with Resonance Music and Arts Festival to make buying and selling second-hand tickets to their 2018 event a secure and frictionless experience for fans.

Right now, fans are able to import their tickets on Terrapin using their ticket number and information used during their initial purchase. Once imported, their tickets will exist on Terrapin where they can be marked as for sale or transferred directly to other fans via email. When a ticket changes ownership, the old barcode becomes void, and a new, unique barcode is generated to guarantee fans gain entry to the event.

We hope it will give fans the peace of mind knowing that they are buying authentic tickets, reduce the amount of fraudulent tickets that arrive at the gate, and help those fans who might have something come up at the last minute and need to transfer ownership of their ticket fast” stated Zach Szabo, Co-Owner of Essential Productions and Organizer for Resonance.

Terrapin Ticketing has seen the way people buy and sell tickets evolve with the use of social media. More and more fans are buying and selling tickets through event pages and fan groups to avoid fees and ensure their tickets go to real people, not scalpers. This inefficient process requires messaging back and forth, sending money, emailing tickets, and even then a fan might get to the door and realize their ticket is fake or has already been scanned. We want to streamline this process and make sure every ticket is authentic and in the hands of actual fans.

Resonance Music Festival’s 5th annual event will take place at Legend Valley Concert Venue in Thornville, OH for another three-day celebration of music, friendship and life on September 20–23, 2018. The lineup includes Tipper, Papadosio (x4), The Disco Biscuits, The Floozies, Brain Damaged Eggmen ft. Members of Umphrey’s McGee & The Disco Biscuits, Keller Williams, and over 40 other artists.
