Enough is Enough: PYL In-Flight Entertainment (Jan 27, 2021)
Welcome Back My Masked Passengers:
It’s generally not a good idea for me to write this newsletter when I am cranky (or create any content for that matter). But it’s where I am today and the newsletter needs to go out tomorrow and, well, it is what it is.
My mom made and sent me these adorable masks. She is so dang clever. I’ve asked for a special one for April (my birthday month) with something related to champagne and tiaras. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with.
I now have a fantastic collection of masks which is good thing since I’ve decided enough is enough and I am getting back out there and resuming my life, in a modified fashion (check out Tuesday’s video).
It’s so frustrating to see so many people across the country living their lives as if there isn’t a dangerous and deadly virus running amok. It’s also frustrating to have so little appreciation expressed for so many of us who have really modified our lives (or put them on hold) to not be part of the problem. Our bodies, minds, and in a lot of cases, incomes have suffered as a result of the pandemic.
So thank you! Thank you to all of you who have worn masks, sheltered in place, avoided large gatherings, put your lives on hold during this pandemic, socially distanced, and have sacrificed for the sake of your loved ones and for complete strangers in our society. I commend you for your sacrifices.

Tuesday’s video turned out to be a little bit controversial with some folks, mostly those who are choosing to continue to shelter in place and take a conservative approach to the pandemic. What risks am I willing to take? Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out.
YouTube: What’s That Feeling?
I was feeling a lot less cranky on Friday when we recorded Saturday’s video. I was feeling light after the inaugural events last Wednesday although it seems I was not alone in continuing to doomscroll, looking for the hits of negativity we’ve been used to over the last four years. I wonder how long it’s going to take for us to recover. More in the video.
What’s my challenge for you today? Do one thing that makes you happy, fills you with joy, and makes you smile. Just one thing.
With much love and gratitude,
Terri
P.S. Take the controls and be the pilot in your own life. It’s a beautiful day to fly, and you are cleared for takeoff.
