Kristina Jones: Guardian Lane
Kristina Jones, former co-founder/President of Court Buddy and current founder/CEO of Guardian Lane, is as innovative as she is smart, creative, kind, generous, and inspiring.
I interviewed her for my podcast Piloting Your Life in November 2017. It was such a great conversation I had to split the interview into two episodes…PYL020 and PYL022.
After exiting Court Buddy at the end of 2019, Kristina decided to write a book and created the manuscript for My Forever Guardian. As she wrote the book, she created a “social healing network” of kids which led to the creation of Guardian Lane, the world’s first video-sharing platform for children’s therapy.
Per Kristina, the combined market value for teletherapy, video-sharing and k-12 e-learning in 2019 was $287B. But there is still a gaping hole that has yet to be filled for children’s therapy.
Guardian Lane is the first video-sharing + teletherapy booking platform exclusively for children’s therapy. Group therapy is finally meeting kids where they already are, online!
Certified and licensed children’s counselors upload videos of their therapy exercises onto Guardian Lane for the children to watch, create, and share! Parents, guardians, and schools have the ability to purchase bundles of 30-minute one-on-one teletherapy sessions for a child with the participating counselors.

We are starting with grief therapy and will be expanding into therapy for divorce, bullying, children separated from parents in the military, and foster children. We believe this is an effort everyone can be apart of!

More About Kristina
Kristina Jones is a Los Angeles native and a Florida International graduate for both her Undergraduate and Master’s degree from The School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Kristina’s Master’s Degree from FIU was in tandem with Miami Ad School’s Art Direction Portfolio Program.
As an Art Director, Kristina went on to work for Advertising Agencies in both California and Florida and had the honor of creating campaigns for San Diego Tourism, Disney, Greater Fort Lauderdale Tourism, SeaWorld, Walmart, Silver Airways, and Kaplan University to name a few. Kristina’s experience with these brands has allowed her to see how media and advertising effect the sales and growth of major corporations.
Kristina was able to take the experience creating content for other brands to help her create her own brand Court Buddy with her husband James Jones Jr. Esq. Court Buddy’s website, courtbuddy.com, matches people with attorneys based on their budget. Court Buddy is helping to bring the legal system to people who previously did not have access to it. Kristina handled the company’s advertising, marketing and social media.
Kristina is now CEO/Founder of Guardian Lane.
