The Pawn…
“I want to change my position. Why does she gets to sit by you and move wherever she wants. I can only move one step at a time and get killed at the earliest. I want to be a queen.” A pawn complained to the king.
King looked in his tearful eyes. He felt bad and sympathised “Son, you’re the most important player in the game. You’re so bold that we've positioned you in the very front. You also get the first chance to kill anyone. Don’t feel bad and get ready for tomorrow.”
That day the bruised pawn came home really happy. He was the most important person in the world and the king meant it.
The next day he came early and occupied his position happily. King came a bit late and nodded as he saw the pawn. He was asked to make the first move. Two steps.
That was just another day when it came back home bruised. He felt like hell.
