Hello all, if you’re reading this, please also check out our latest news post regarding changes to our posting strategy. Changelogs will be focused on a more linear, technical breakdown of the changes, bug fixes, and improvements we’ve made since the last.
New Features / Improvements
- Software Updates page was given a major redesign and rework; a brand new graph (with added dark mode support), prioritized recent updates, and a brand new Release Notes section. A little bit for everyone.
- The Teslapedia was given a major update, adding a way to view and share the locations of all Tesla Superchargers, Service Centers, Stores, and more around the world. These pages contain information about each location as found on Tesla’s Find Us map.
- Drives can now be shared and given names! Simply click on the “Edit”, to change the drive’s name, whether to add it to your “Shared Drives”, along with an option to hide speeding (to prevent accidentally “outting” oneself).
- Drive pages were given a redesign, providing new metrics such as drive efficiency, average speed, and more. Additionally, drives now record temperatures and whether the AC was on.
- You can now add your Tesla Referral Program code via your Account Settings to add a notice on your vehicle page to visitors who may be interested in leasing or buying a Tesla. As new features are added to vehicle pages, this is a great way to passively and effortlessly gain referrals.
- A new “Glances” area was added to the home page (vehicle list) to show the current state of the vehicle and how long ago it was updated, in addition to calculations relating to recent drives and charges.
- The onboarding experience for new members was given a major design overhaul with more detailed explanations about the process, layout changes, and a link to the Help section with more information.
- We launched our Developer Documentation section, showcasing a few API endpoints we now offer publicly. In addition, a new section has been added to the vehicle settings page to allow for generating / re-generating an API key.
- A tutorial for setting up Siri Shortcuts or Tasker (for Android) was added to the “API Key” section of vehicle settings.
- Rankings have been added to each Supercharger, displaying a list of which public vehicles have charged there the most.
- The “Quick View” section (where some brief vehicle information is displayed) was significantly improved on mobile and the height it took up reduced by 30%.
- [Requested] Software updates can now be given a “parent” version, which will inform + recommend visiting the original release notes.
- [Requested] You can now use just the version (ie: 2019.36.1) in a software update page URL instead of the entire version + git hash (ie: 2019.36.1-0164b9a).
- A badge has been added to Leaderboards signifying if a vehicle’s owner is currently supporting the platform via a premium membership.
- The About page was given a much-needed redesign, adding screenshots, new features added since launch, and other small improvements.
- Added a new Trims and Colors section to the Statistics page.
- Added a new administrative tool
Changes
- A new notice has been added for charging and drive list pages informing the owner that recording new sessions has been paused due to a premium membership or trial expiring.
- The Longest Drives leaderboards were changed from requiring 50 miles to 99 miles to be included.
- [Requested] Charging Session boxes now display the range alongside battery percentage.
- [Requested] A new icon has been added to vehicle pages to inform the member if the vehicle has experienced an error, or if the vehicle is currently asleep.
- [Requested] The metric “Charge Rate” on charging session tables and chart now state this is in either mi/h or km/h.
- Originally, if a vehicle was in [H]old, it would not be counted as driving. This has been changed to now include this driving state.
- Originally, if a vehicle failed to wake up after ten attempts, requests would be paused until the next minute for that vehicle. This has been changed to five attempts alongside some improvements to the way we handled this process.
- [Requested] Option Codes have been added to the vehicle debug page.
- Restful Sleep Mode was added to our Frequently Asked Questions.
- Added Slipstream Carbon 19" and 20" wheels.
- Added Turbine 19" wheels.
- Added Arachnid Black 21" wheels.
- Added Twin Turbine Carbon 21" wheels.
- Added Signature Red paint color.
- Added an easter egg to Membership Features sections.
- Added support for our team to be able to display a temporary notice at the top of every page (non-dismissable) in the cause of maintenances or reduced functionality.
- [Requested] The “last updated” line on vehicle pages is now hidden if not viewed by the owner (when public mode is enabled). We made this change based on feedback we received that this could unintentionally inform others if a vehicle had Quiet Mode on (disables all requests while toggled via Vehicle Settings).
- Pagination links now properly appear darker when using Dark Mode.

- Lifetime Drives page was significantly optimized, decreasing the page load time almost 3x.
- Resolved a problem that impacted two members where duplicate premium subscriptions were made.
