The 2018 Moogfest has announced the line up: the event will take place in Durham in the North Caroline from 17 to 20 May.
The news of the US festival has already been around the world, as it will be an artistic event characterized not only by the long duration but also by the particular choice of guest artists.
50 female artists will be protagonists, between women and transgender, it is the first time that an organization tries to launch a social message so strong through music, that with the times that run it proves to be perhaps the only glue that can keep a company united so problematic.
Among the most influential names present in line up we find Ellen Allien, Honey Dijon, Aurora Halal, Fatima Al Quadiri, Sophie, Umfang, Jenny Hval and Katie Gately.
The choice not to prefer a single genre of music will ensure that the public can be pervaded by different artistic currents that start from Dance Music and end up with electronic music.
An experience that is already very interesting, but one of the details on which it is worth focusing the attention will be the speech made to the public by Chelsea Manning.
Manning is an American military activist known for declaring that he does not feel like belonging to the male gender, choosing to become a transgender and thus begin what many call a real social revolution.
